My mother actually found the original version of this box at a thrift and it had Japanese characters on it. I don't read much Japanese so I asked the people on Reddit's translation forum... and it turned out to say "Acrylic Plate." Womp-Womp. So we put something really Asian on there, a woodblock cut of a Koi. This new version is wider and has an open top.
